Production & Delivery Times

Know When to Expect Your Order

Most Graphic Stands products are custom printed and prepared specifically for your order. Production time begins once your payment has been received, your artwork has passed review, and any required proof has been approved.

The time needed to receive your order includes two separate stages:

  1. Production time: Preparing, printing, finishing, inspecting, and packaging your order.
  2. Shipping time: The time your order spends in transit after leaving production.

Important: Production and shipping times are calculated separately.

Quick Production Time Guide

Product TypeTypical Production Time
Hardware-only orders and stocked accessories1–3 business days
Replacement fabric graphics3–5 business days
Banner stands, tension fabric displays and counters3–5 business days
SEG light boxes and illuminated displays5–7 business days
Large modular displays and custom booth solutions7–12+ business days
Custom sizes, bulk orders and special configurationsConfirmed after order review

These are typical production times for print-ready orders. Your order may require additional time depending on its size, quantity, complexity, artwork condition and selected options.

1. When Does Production Time Begin?

Production time begins on the first business day after all the following requirements have been completed:

  • Full payment or the required deposit has been received.
  • All necessary artwork files have been submitted.
  • The artwork has passed our preflight review.
  • Any requested revisions have been completed.
  • The digital proof has been approved, when applicable.
  • All product options, quantities and shipping details have been confirmed.

Submitting an order does not automatically begin production if artwork or approval is still required.

Your artwork approval date—not necessarily your order date—determines when production begins.

2. What Is Considered a Business Day?

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and scheduled closures.

Weekends and holidays are not counted as production days or regular transit days. Orders, artwork or approvals received outside regular business hours are reviewed on the next business day.

For example, a five-business-day production time does not include Saturdays or Sundays.

3. Typical Production Times

Production times vary by product because each display requires a different combination of printing, finishing, sewing, frame preparation, electrical testing and packaging.

Hardware and Accessories

Hardware-only orders and stocked accessories are typically prepared within 1–3 business days.

Custom Fabric Graphics

Replacement tension fabric, pillowcase and SEG graphics are typically produced within 3–5 business days after artwork approval.

Portable Displays and Counters

Banner stands, tension fabric backdrops, arches, counters and similar portable displays are typically produced within 3–5 business days.

Backlit and Illuminated Displays

SEG light boxes, backlit counters and other illuminated displays typically require 5–7 business days for production, assembly preparation and quality inspection.

Large or Custom Display Solutions

Large modular displays, custom booth configurations, special dimensions and high-quantity orders typically require 7–12 business days or longer. A project-specific schedule may be provided after the order has been reviewed.

4. Artwork Review and Proof Approval

Custom printing cannot begin until the artwork is ready for production.

After receiving your files, we review them for:

  • Correct dimensions
  • Artwork scale
  • Image resolution
  • Colour mode
  • Bleed and safe areas
  • Font and linked-image issues
  • Compatibility with the selected product

If we identify a problem, we will contact you before production. Production time will remain paused until corrected artwork or approval is received.

For complete file-preparation instructions, please review our Artwork Guidelines.

5. Digital Proofs

When a digital proof is provided, it must be approved before printing begins.

A digital proof is used to confirm:

  • Artwork placement
  • Overall layout
  • Graphic orientation
  • Front and back artwork
  • Visible finishing areas
  • Selected product configuration

A digital proof is not an exact representation of printed colour, material texture or final scale.

Please review every detail carefully. Once a proof is approved, the order enters production and changes may no longer be possible.

6. How Your Estimated Delivery Time Is Calculated

Your estimated delivery window is based on:

Artwork approval + production time + shipping time

For example:

  • Artwork approved: Monday
  • Production time: 5 business days
  • Estimated shipping time: 5 business days
  • Estimated arrival: Approximately 10 business days after artwork approval

This example is provided for planning purposes only. Actual timing can vary by product, destination and selected shipping service.

7. Shipping Time

Shipping time begins only after production and quality inspection have been completed.

The available delivery service depends on:

  • Product dimensions and weight
  • Delivery postal code
  • Small-parcel or oversized-shipment requirements
  • Selected shipping method
  • Carrier availability

Shipping estimates are provided in business days and do not normally include weekends or holidays.

Selecting faster shipping does not shorten the production time.

8. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation containing the available tracking information.

Tracking activity may take up to 24–48 hours to appear after the shipping label has been created.

Large or multi-item orders may:

  • Arrive in more than one package
  • Have multiple tracking numbers
  • Arrive on different days
  • Require a delivery appointment

Please monitor all tracking numbers included with your shipment confirmation.

9. Orders Containing Multiple Products

When an order contains several products, the complete order may follow the production time of the item requiring the longest preparation.

In some cases, items may ship separately to help avoid unnecessary delays. Separate packages from the same order may not arrive at the same time.

You will receive the available tracking information for each shipment.

10. Rush Orders

Rush production may be available for certain products, quantities and artwork-ready orders.

Rush service must be requested and confirmed before placing the order. Availability depends on current production capacity and the selected product.

Additional charges may apply.

A deadline written in the order notes does not guarantee rush production or delivery. Rush timing must be confirmed by Graphic Stands.

11. Changes and Cancellations

Please review your order carefully before approving the artwork.

Once production has started:

  • Product options may no longer be changed.
  • Artwork changes may require restarting production.
  • Additional charges may apply.
  • The estimated completion date may change.
  • Cancellation may no longer be possible.

Contact us immediately if you need to request a change. We will confirm whether the order has entered production and what options remain available.

12. Factors That May Affect Timing

Production or delivery may take longer because of:

  • Artwork corrections or missing files
  • Delayed proof approval
  • Changes requested after approval
  • Large quantities
  • Custom sizes or configurations
  • Product availability
  • Quality-control corrections
  • Carrier delays
  • Severe weather
  • Holidays or scheduled closures
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
  • Delivery locations outside major service areas

If a significant delay affects your order, we will provide updated information as soon as it becomes available.

Estimated completion and delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

13. Ordering for a Trade Show or Event

If your order is required for a specific event, we strongly recommend ordering as early as possible.

Allow additional time for:

  • Artwork preparation
  • Artwork corrections
  • Proof approval
  • Production
  • Shipping
  • Unexpected carrier delays
  • Inspecting and assembling the display before the event

Whenever possible, plan for your display to arrive at least 5–7 business days before your event or installation date.

Contact us before ordering if you are working with a firm deadline. We can help you select an appropriate product and shipping option, but delivery by a particular date must be confirmed in writing.
