Before Assembly
Choose a clean, dry and level surface with enough room to lay out the counter components.
Carefully remove and identify the following parts:
- Oval countertop
- Oval base with rubber feet
- Three aluminum pole sets
- Custom stretch-fabric graphic, when included
- Soft carrying bag
Check that the connecting points are clean and undamaged. Keep the identification labels visible during assembly, as the corresponding frame sections should be matched according to their labels.
Make sure the fabric graphic is clean and completely dry before installing it. Avoid assembling the counter on rough or dirty flooring that could mark the graphic or damage the countertop.
Tool-Free Assembly Instructions
- Position the base: Place the oval base on a clean, level surface with the rubber feet facing downward.
- Prepare the pole sets: Match the labelled aluminum pole sections and connect the corresponding pieces.
- Attach the frame: Connect the three assembled pole sets between the base and the underside of the countertop. Follow the matching labels to ensure that each pole is installed in the correct position.
- Secure the connections: Hand-tighten each connection until it is secure. No specialized tools are required.
- Position the countertop: Make sure the countertop is seated evenly and supported by all three pole sets.
- Check the assembled counter: Confirm that the counter stands level and that every connection is fully engaged before installing the graphic or placing items on the countertop.
Do not force a connection that does not align. Recheck the labels and reposition the corresponding frame section before trying again.
Installing and Replacing the Stretch Fabric Graphic
This counter uses one continuous stretch-fabric graphic rather than separate front and rear panels.
- Fully open the zipper at the rear of the graphic.
- Identify the front of the artwork and align it with the front of the counter.
- Carefully slide the graphic over the assembled frame.
- Pull the fabric evenly around the countertop and base, working gradually from side to side.
- Smooth the graphic with clean hands to distribute the tension evenly and minimize wrinkles.
- Confirm that the artwork is centred and that the seams are positioned correctly.
- Close the rear zipper carefully without pulling or forcing it.
To replace the graphic, open the rear zipper, release the fabric gradually from the base and lift it carefully over the frame. Install the replacement graphic using the same steps.
Avoid using sharp tools near the fabric, seams or zipper. The rear zippered opening also provides access to the interior area of the assembled counter.
Graphic Care
The stretch-fabric graphic may be machine washed using:
- Cold water
- A gentle wash cycle
- Mild detergent
Do not use bleach. Tumble dry using a low-temperature setting, and make sure the graphic is completely dry before reinstalling or storing it.
After the graphic has been installed on the frame, a garment steamer may be used carefully to reduce wrinkles and fold lines. Keep the steamer moving and avoid concentrating heat on one area for an extended period.
Before handling the printed graphic, make sure your hands are clean and dry. Store the graphic loosely folded and avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on top of it.
Frame and Countertop Care
Clean the aluminum pole sections, base and countertop using a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Dry all components before packing them into the carrying bag.
Do not use abrasive pads, strong solvents or harsh chemical cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
Periodically inspect:
- Pole connections
- Threaded fittings and locking points
- Countertop and base
- Rubber feet
- Fabric zipper and seams
Do not drag the assembled counter across the floor. Lift and reposition it carefully to avoid damaging the base, frame or graphic.
Disassembly and Storage
- Remove all items from the countertop and interior storage area.
- Fully open the rear zipper.
- Carefully remove the stretch-fabric graphic without pulling excessively on the seams.
- Detach the countertop and aluminum pole sections in the reverse order used for assembly.
- Separate the pole sections carefully. When a connector is difficult to release, gently reposition the tube and try again rather than forcing it.
- Wipe down and dry all components before packing.
- Place the countertop, base, pole sets and graphic inside the supplied carrying bag.
Store the counter in a clean, dry indoor location. Do not store a damp graphic, and avoid placing heavy objects on the packed counter or carrying bag.
Indoor or Outdoor Use
The Oval Stretch Fabric Counter – QuickFit Essential Series is designed for indoor applications such as trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, showrooms, retail promotions and point-of-sale displays.
It is not designed as a weather-resistant outdoor counter. Keep the display away from rain, moisture, strong wind and prolonged direct sunlight. Use the counter on a clean, level indoor surface for maximum stability and product life.
